About Chaud Devant!

What is "Chaud Devant!" in French?
It means "I'll pass by with freshly made and piping hot food."

Chaud Devant! is a French word that means “I'll pass by with a hot, freshly made dish.'' It is commonly used in restaurants to quickly serve food to customers. In a broader sense, it also represents the spirit of hospitality, which is to serve customers with the best products in the best condition. We, Chaud Devant! wish to demonstrate this spirit together with world-renowned professionals. There is no time like today for Japan's luxury hospitality industry to improve its ability to provide the highest quality service, discover new talent, and gain inspiration.

Why in Japan now?

Our vision

Chaud Devant !

Japan has a culture and tradition of hospitality since ancient times. Also, Japan history and nature are major touristic attractions.
 
The number of tourists visiting Japan from overseas has reached 2.52 million as of October 2023, exceeding the number in 2019 before entry restrictions were imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. By 2030 at the latest, it is expected that one in three guests in Japan will be foreigners, and they are already the majority at luxury hotels. Furthermore, the Japanese government has set a goal of increasing the number of foreign visitors to Japan to 60 million by 2030, which is double the record high in 2019. Japanese government is also targeting the wealthiest and aims to shift from quantity to quality of inbound tourism, and it is said that at least 100 international-standard luxury hotels are planning to open in Japan in the next few years.
 
At the same time, all industries in the tourism and hospitality industry are facing labor shortages and talent shortages, and in order to have wealthy customers become repeat customers, know-how that meets their high expectations is required.
 
We want to provide this know-how to field leaders for them to share it with team members, and help them provide a high level of service.

Our mission

Chaud Devant !

Chaud Devant! provides short-term training and seminars (1-4 days), for professionals who are leaders in luxury hospitality industry, to improve perceived quality of services by upper class clients from overseas.

Seminars are held in workshop format no more than once or twice a year as modules on the same theme. We also make arrangements according to the needs of corporate customers. The lecturers are recognized professionals from around the world.

With experience serving clients from various countries and cultural backgrounds, they wish to help people in the Japanese hospitality industry understand how the services and products they provide will be perceived.

We hope to help those in the Japanese hospitality industry provide greater and personalized experiences to overseas customers, encourage them to visit again, and to become positive ambassadors for Japan tourism.
